American Gods TV series, based on the famous novel of Neil Gaiman, will air in 2017. An ex-con, freesh out prison, is suddenly thrust into a struggle between Old Gods like Odin and Chernobog, and New Gods of money and technology. The plot is bound to be very colourful and imaginative. Casting is yet to be finalized, but it may include figures like Gillian Anderson(X-Files), Omid Abtahi(Sleeper Cell), Ricky Whittle(the 100) as Shadow Moon, Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday, Emily Browning as Laura Moon, Pablo Schreiber as Mad Sweeney and Bruce Langley as Technical Boy.
