Blade Runner 2049 is a sequel to a famous sci-fi film featuring themes like artificial intelligence, dystopian future and others. It is directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford and others.
Second season of the Westworld, critically acclaimed TV show about human mind and artificial intelligence will air in late 2018. Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton,Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Ben Barnes, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Clifton Collins Jr., Luke Hemsworth are likely to be in the cast, although some of the supposedly dead characters may be resurrected, it seems. Hosts are going to get much more freedom and perhaps self-awareness. Westworld is revealed to be not the only setting in the series, and the second season is expected to be much more chaotic than the first.
A former Naval captain and expert diver, Jonas Taylor, is recruited for a deep-sea mission to rescue Chinese scientists under attack from the 70-foot white shark, named Carcharodon Megalodon. A film is based on a sci-fi bestselling book from 1997. Cast includes Jason Statham, Jessica McNamee, Li Bingbing, Ruby Rose, Rainn Wilson, Cliff Curtis, Robert Taylor.
A new entry to a legendary FPS game that is still played competitively around the world, Quake Champions is likely to be released in the fall of 2017. It has completely revamped physics engine, features 12 different classes and promises ultrafast and fun violent gameplay many of shooter fans feel nostalgic for.
Google announces his new device, known alternatively as Bison and Pixel 3. It will use OS 'Andromeda' operating system, which is a blend between Chrome and Android operating systems. Bison is planned as an ultra-thin laptop with a 12.3" display, but Google also wants it to support a "tablet" mode. It's unclear to us if this means Bison will be a Lenovo Yoga-style convertible device, or a detachable like Microsoft's Surface Book, but I'm personally leaning on the former given how thin it is. Powering it will be either an Intel m3 or i5 Core processor with 32 or 128GB of storage and 8 or 16GB of RAM. This seems to suggest there will be two models. It will also feature a fingerprint scanner, two USB-C ports, a 3.5mm jack (!), a host of sensors, stylus support (a Wacom pen will be sold separately), stereo speakers, quad microphones, and a battery that will last around 10 hours. The keyboard will be backlit, and the glass trackpad will use haptic and force detection similar to the MacBook. Google plans to fit all of this in a form factor under 10mm in thickness, notably thinner than the aforementioned Apple ultraportable.
